Old to trailering, New to Airstream

Hello y'all

We've been around trailering for a long time, but now, instead of towing a box on wheels with a strange "swirl" paint job, we'll be pulling a little silver "twinkie" - a 2018 Bambi 16 Sport.

Welcome to the smile brigade. You will never have more smiles come your way then when you pull into a fuel stop or campground with that Bambi girl in tow.

Seems like a small coach to some, but it's all there and a very nice package to enjoy.

Hope to meet you down the road with your smile showing. . Pat

Welcome. As you likely know, it is most important that one 'hits the road' and explores. In what rig one travels in is of less importance. I believe you will quickly come to love your Bambi. Congratulations on your long history of travel and recent decision to join the Airstream community. Travel safe. See you down the road.

Welcome from Colorado. Just read an article in the latest issue of Airstream Life about the Wee Wind, a 1948 Airstream 16'. Airstream has been making small trailers for a long time, and they are very popular.

Airstream trailers are unique, and the Airstream owners community is a great place to be. Fellow Airstreamers may very well stop and say hello when they see you in a campground. Get ready to meet some great people.

InsideOut posted a nifty picture. I wanted to share one I took years ago. Lots of box trailers. My photo just demonstrates the rarity of the brand even if it is out of rotation.
