Newby looking for Bambi

I am currently looking for a Bambi in any condition. I have been an aircraft sheetmetal mechanic for over 30 years so I am looking for an Airstream that may need work but reasonable is priced. I live in Arvada Colorado and I currently work as a flight engineer on a weather research C130.

Hi and welcome. keep an eye on the classifieds. Those little trailers go really quick! What vintage are you looking for?

I,m looking for a vintage Bambi, I think that will be all I can afford right now, as I have one child that just got out of college and one that just started. Of course I would not turn down a charitable donation. I also have been doing aircraft metal work for years and I need a new project. It was either an Airstream or I was going to build a sailboat from aluminum and my wife killed the sailboat idea. We are also getting alittle old to keep tenting

Look on eBay right now. There is a Bambi which has several substantial dents but the ad says a low reserve. Good luck. I think we all want a Bambi. As for me, I am keeping my eyes open in empty fields and barns. I think that will be the only place I might find one I can afford!!! I doubt there will be any charity involved with the disposal of any Bambi... Good luck!
