Hi to the group.

I have a mobile home in northern CA. Nice to meetcha all. This seems like a nice friendly forum.

One day I hope to do the RV thing [if I live long enough]

I'm looking for info on Vulkem roof sealant. [real trubble here with major storm - roof leaked - ruined interior ceiling..........

I can find some information on Vulkem but not whether it is the best product for exterior roof sealant?? Home Depot doesn't have it and I can't find the cost per 5 gal. and need to figure about 12 X 60 coverage .

If anyone can be of assistance would really appreciate it.

Welcome, and good luck fixing leaks.. Since the overwhelming majority of us Airstreamers use vulkem in teeny amounts to seal little bitty problems around windows or joints, we buy it from Airstream Dealers or RV Supply places in round tubes for caulking guns, not large buckets or pails... You might try Camping World (www.campingworld.com ) to see if they have it or equivalent in bulk... There are Airstream dealers in Manteca, Sacramento and Los Banos...
