New to AS

We bought our first Airstream in 2020 and enjoyed it so much we've ordered a 2022. I'm a car guy at heart an engineer by training.

Welcome from Colorado: I like you am a motorhead. I've had many little sports cars through the years. Driving slow cars fast is fun for me. I like you am an engineer by training, but now retired. Keep those social security deposits you make every payday coming my way.

Now I enjoy the vintage Airstream hobby. I like working with my hands and I bet you do too. I like studying how these old Airstreams were made and how I might make them a bit more modern. But they pale compared to a new Airstream. At least your new one will last a very long time.

I'm retired also. Cars, detailing, and hunting take much of my spare time these days. Enjoy the restoring/upgrading your aluminum treasures.
