Hello,
We will be picking up our 2016 30" Flying Cloud this week. We have no idea what we are in for but so excited for the next phase of our lives. Any info greatly appreciated.

Hi Yvonne! Welcome to the family. Take a day and start reading this forum. Do searches on topics you want to learn more about. From air pressure to can your vehicle actually tow your AS to what you should you buy for your first outing. [emoji41]

Lots of great people and many years of great information here.

Safe travels!

Congrats on your new AS. One thing you are in for is a lot of fun and adventure.

I would recommend joining the airstreamclub.org to maximize your fun and minimize your learning curve.

All the best!

Congrats on your new Airstream, and welcome to the family! We are just up the road a piece in Lake Worth Beach, so if you need some advice or help with something, just send me a PM and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Also, if you are on Facebook and haven’t discovered the Airstream Addicts group, give it a look-see. It’s not as technical as the Airforums but often quite entertaining.

Jim

Congratulations from fellow Florida campers! One thing you will quickly learn is that the state parks, wonderful as they are, book up VERY quickly. You will learn to discover county, COE, and interesting private campgrounds as well.
As retirees, we have the luxury of weekday camping. We are still learning - our current site is next to the tent area, where the inhabitants like to cook cracker style - but with lots of Gulflite on their campfires! Now my wife has something else to consider as she researches the perfect campsite..:
Best to you in your adventures!

Yvonne6267, welcome to the Airstream community. We currently have a FC 30 and really enjoy the ease of towing and camping. We travel a lot in our AS so just now getting out more. We learn lots listening to fellow Airstreamers. Enjoy your "new" Airstream.
