new guy--a Teardropper
the B.B.B. band--you know who you are
Hi all, I come to this site by way of Tearjerkers.org. I don't have an Airstream as it shows but I had to put something in to get registered. I built my own Teardrop camper last year and have met lots of new friends.
I'll be picking up lots of info from this site. The reason for the Bambi listing is that is the Airstream that I like. Til later--John T.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. I, also, would love to see some pictures of your Teardrop. I have always thought that Teardrops are way cool.

Welcome
John T,
Great job on your tear drop. I especially like the wood grain. Welcome to the forums, I'm sure you'll enjoy and find answers to all kinds of questions.

Greetings John
That is a really nice teardrop. How much does it weigh, and what kind of
trailer did you start with?
I have always liked the teardrop design having an outdoor kitchen in the rear of the trailer. I rarely cook indoors. I am surprized that someone hasn't made a larger teardrop.

Thanks All,
I started wit a Tractor Supply no-floor frame, built sandwich walls for lite weight. It took 4 months of building it by myself. I had no plans but many ideas from www.mikenchells.com/forums or google T&TTT. It's a builders forum and many different sections of info-great site! I have $1900.00 in it total with build/accessories. On t&ttt site they do have various plans for all kinds of small trailers. Another site to check out is Tearjerkers.org, they are a camping site mostly with chapters thru-out the states and international. They have gatherings all over and enjoy any kind of camping trailers
but it's mostly tears.
