Meet the newbie

Good Morning fellow Airstreamers! (or is there another collective name for the community of Airstream owners?)
My nam,e is Terry Berg, I live in NW Indiana - not far from Chicago - and recently bouht a 1963 26' Overlander as a restoration product. I have little or no knowledge of Airstreams, so I will be needing a lot of help and guidance.

Nice to meet you! I also own a 63 Overlander. It is undergoing a rebuild/modernization right now. Welcome to the forums!

Welcome aboard the aluminum trail! I have a 1963 Bambi that I am in the middle of a restoration. This is a great place for information. Enjoy the journey

another 63 Overlander owner

I live in McHenry IL about 60 miles from you. I have had my 63 Overlander since 1986. It has had some renovation but is pretty much original. I am putting in a Suburban furnace right now. If you have questions or would like to meet, email me.

Welcome to the forums and the wonderful world of Airstream. I just drove through your community on the way home from Ohio, did you see my classic motor home?
You are at the right place for your questions and to get the help you need to fix up and enjoy that trailer of yours for many many years.

Keep us in mind in June next year. The Midwest Forums rally is convening near Bloomington Ill. Not too far for you if your Overlander is road worthly and up to a weekends worth of use.

Welcome, from Texas...the land of very few good airstreams for sale. I know, cuz I've been looking for the last 3 months. All the GOOD ones are north of me, 3 lightyears away. I still don't own an airstream, but I have a heart for one! You will LOVE this site. Everyone is so helpful and informative...instant friends!

Glad to hear you an official airstreamer now. Wish I were a newbie, too, but can't seem to find the right trailer to scratch where I itch. Maybe some day...
