Congratulations on your 64 Globetrotter.
I have a 64 G. also. It's a cool little trailer. Great accomadations for a 19 footer.
Mines' currently going through a compleat resto update by Billy Evans. He is in N. Ga. I'm in S.FL. Drove up a couple weaks ago to go over some update details. It's completely gutted. Erie to walk around inside the empty shell, but nice to see how amazingly sound and pristine it is even now after 40 plus years. When I saw it, I thought, oh my gawd, poor little Sweetpea!
Billy loves taking them down to the last rivit and puttin them back together again. No matter what I askfor he says; sure. Two Fantastic Fans? No problem!
Don't know how he's going to do that! I personly find the whole idea of tearing an Airstream apart kinda scary.
I've had a couple new Airstreams in the last few years. Can't say I'm thrilled withe the factory build quality. It will be nice to have one built with thourough individual attention to detail. Airstreams could be better. The program is only as good as the execution of it.
Oh oh I'm rambling I guess. Can't wait to get my little Sweetpea back.
Hope you are enjoying yours. They are cool little pods.
