new title and identity

I have asked about my AS, had a Pan Am edition logo on the sides, had a certificate of destruction, etc. It also has a different WBCCI number on the front and back...very confusing, even the VIN # confused people and Airstream. So, after refurbishing, I just took off all side decals for polishing the body and found that it originally had an INTERNATIONAL logo underneath the PAN AM EDITION logo. This is supposedly 1982 model according to the vin #, so looks like someone added the pan am logo later....my WBCCI # is 12641 on the back, finally got a title and registration in NC, though very difficult with a certificate of destruction from insurance company...now I know why people stay away from buying untitled As...does anyone know how to research the WBCCI #? You could have a HOT AS from texas..

Since your AS has a certificate of destruction, it is possible that 2 different AS's were put together to fix what was damaged on them. Like the front of one and the back of another, hence the two different WBCCI numbers.
