To venture a guess, maybe a '50s Royal Spartanette or a '50s Yellowstone.

BTW, Welcome to the forums! If it's aluminum, we're all related.

On edit: Just read the "Royal by the door" part. Probably a Royal Spartanette then.

Definitely looks like a Royal Spartanette. Note - This one appears to be all aluminum. Spartan used steel for some of the trim and windows on certain years. I looked at a 24 foot 1948 a few weeks ago that had steel cased windows.

The folks at PCC had one at SpringStream 09 that was incredible.

Hardwood floors, split ductless AC, two bedrooms, and a cast iron tub.

A real heavyweight, but beautiful.

It Is a 1950-1953 Royal Spartanette (8'x35')! Most likely 1950 as at the end of 1951 Spartanettes started to have steel componets! Never Before 1951, atleast not by the factory. Even after 1951 there were still Spartanettes ordered and made with all aluminum, but most Spartanettes after 1950 have wood studs, and after 1951 have some steel componets. Could have any, all or none of these steel: Door Frames, Window Frames, Rubrail, Glass Frames, Steps, Roof Caps, Roof Vents, Steel Roof Panels (Some or all)!

There should be a small tag inside the front door frame! This number will tell a lot! I would suspect it is 135-50-XXXX (135=35', 50=1950, XXXX=production number)

Just looked at the pictures again before posting! I am now 99.9% sure it is a 1950! 1951 went to rounded corner windows! This one has the Squared corner windows (On sides) found on pre 1951 and since 1950 was the first year for the 35' It has the be 1950!

Great Find!

Welcome to the forums and I would say go for it! It's Vintage Kin to Airstreams and we love all vintage! If indeed it is a spartanette (Tim's info is pretty good!) I am definitely jealous. Someday....

Hopefully the woodwork on the inside isn't too bad, post more photos when you can.
