07 classic caught in flash flood
The water came up to the bottom of the aluminum skin. Floors are wet, carpets soaked, bottom of cabinets seem ok, don't know about electrical yet the generator is flooded. Insurance is through progressive, does a soaked floor equal salvage or what should I be looking at when I talk to the adjuster.

Wow. That sucks.
At a minimum, your plywood floor was submerged. all insulation in the belly is toast. How far did it get up the walls?
Probably ok electrically.
Mechanically, what happens to submerged bakes?
Then consider moisture and mold growth in every crevice and hidden place in the trailer.
Probably doesn't look bad, but the hidden costs sound like deep.
Good luck. Hope you get back on the road soon.

sorry to hear... that's a real drag
regardless what a/s or a GP sales rep tells you.. once that plywood (floor substrate) gets soaked through, it's shot and needs to be replaced..

same as a car
The insurance should treat it the same as a car. Its a flood vehicle now. Many problems.
How did you get caught unaware?

It appears just the subfloor is wet right now, who knows in a couple of days how far up it will wick. Any idea how much a factory replacement of a subfloor would run (I assume you would have to basically gut it to do that). It may fill with mold before I can retrieve it anyways, I'm missing a few roads on my farm right now. thanks for all the comments.

We have had a tremendous amount of rain in south Georgia over the last 7 days. I was at the trailer 6pm friday night everything was fine no water within 200yards. Saturday morning the water was in the same place away from the trailer but I could see the high water marks on a small shed, several outside chairs were missing and the as mentioned damage. The water came and the water went I do not know from were. I do know where the high water mark on my property is now though.

Its a shame...sorry for your problem...
This reminds me of a post from years ago...when a friend of mine and his wife settled into a space at a Park in Concan, Texas. A beautiful placid spot a few hundred yards from the Frio River. About O dark thirty they were awakened by the trailer rolling around, and finally rolling over. No sound but rushing water. The problem they had was a flash flood...from a thunderstorm way to the North....they never even heard it. No matter, the water went South an washed out the Camp. They survived narrowly, but others were not so lucky. Do you know your surroundings and do you have an escape route from the trailer? My friend said the worst part was trying to become reoriented and finding an escape hole in the topsy turvey trailer...in the complete darkness.
