Key fob battery?
So I have this but looked all over the keys and can’t find where the battery’s are located. It’s all rubber-ish... feels almost fake? Am I missing something? Be nice to lock the rv up wirelessly and no key. :-) Thx

That picture is not the key fob, it's only a plastic piece to identify which button on the fob does what function. I have two fobs for mine, it is about quarter inch thick and takes six hearing aid batteries (stacked)

Did you get this figured out? Your post is a few weeks old at this point.

Ah. Jeeze. Thanks for letting me know. Well I don’t have those fobs. I will look in the manuals again to see if there is a way to program new ones... or figure out where the mechanism is.... thanks for the message

Thanks for the update . . . the manufacturer of your chassis may be able to help . . . any paperwork from them and an 800 number you can call? Maybe find a good locksmith . . . they often know really good shortcuts for key issues IMO.
Good luck.

Well I have the key to open and lock the door. I don’t know where the transmitter box is... looked around under the dash but didn’t see anything bc then I could find the model type or something and go from there I would think.... any more insight would be appreciated I don’t want to go to the “stealership” to get this figured out. I might try airstream 800 #. Never called them before. So I will deal with a key for now. Also working on tons of other things... speakers... fridge.... radio.... cabinets and tons more so transmitted would be nice and easy I though. Haha.

The key fob is the transmitter, the receiver and solenoid valve actuator are installed between the outer wall and the inside beige trim panel (that holds the co pilot cup holder) adjacent to the deadbolt.

thanks for the idea where it is! I was looking under the rv and under the door and putting my hand up there... i even moved pulled out the generator and thought maybe i would see it and had no luck- I will look where co-pilot cup holder is! jeeze That shall be easier to get to I hope. Will try again wednesday hopefully and get it figured out and then order a wireless key switch... hopefully its not too hard to program and hopefully they still sell something that will work with it. Thank you!
