Shear pin on Power Gear bedroom slide motor shaft

Hello
I just posted this, but best I can tell, it has vanished... so, sorry if double-posting.
We have a 2000 Land Yacht 34ft (Ford V10 chassis.) It has 2 slides... the problematic one is the rear curbside bedroom slide. Evidently the shear pin on the motor shaft is sheared. It is a single Power Gear unit. My questions are..

1) How in the world can I get this gear off the shaft without removing the entire mechanism from the slide??? The gear is underneath/inside the rail. I tried removing the motor assembly from the rail and driving the shaft back through the gear, but I can't get a good enough "swing" at it due to poor clearance from the bed frame itself. Surely there is some method of removing the gear without removing the entire mechanism from the slideout???

2) How can I find the part number and a vendor for this shear pin?

3) My theory about what caused the pin to shear is that the floor may be swollen / "bucked" up due to water leakage thru shower skylight. Is that possible? What else could be putting drag on it? Seems like bottom of "nightstand" is digging into carpet.

Any and all help greatly appreciated-- thank you

This may help.

Power Gear is now Lippert Components. They were helpful when I contacted them several years ago: LCI- Customer Service <customerservice@lci1.com>

Thank you Al. That explains why Google kept bringing up Lippert when I would search for Power Gear. I'll contact them. David
