My condolences to Tony's family and friends.
His humor and wit will be missed here.

We now have a sidekick in heaven scouting sites for our future travels.

Prayers for Tony and Gabby. I knew Tony only through the forum but he was always nice and helpful in his posts. I am sorry he lost his battle but I know he's in a better place. We will miss him here in the forum.

Our lives are all richer for having Tony, Gabby, and family in our lives. We will miss Tony and hope Gabby can make future gatherings. Let us know if we can help with anything.

Memories of their visit on the cross country trip last summer.

Where to begin ?........Seems like we all put a face to names in 2016 at the Pennwood "Get-Together". It seems to me that we always meet really cool people later on in life and you wonder where they were your whole life. A true "Patriot" Tony was....He and Gabby never missed a "Get-Together".....wish I could have done more....They were truly great meetings and it was great to see them. Great company......kind of leaves me empty right now. Regards, Bob

You will be missed dearly, Sidekick Tony! I never got to meet you in person, but counted you as one of my close friends, who would understand your dry humor and sometimes hilarious comments. During his visit to Austin, your good friend John told me how helpful you always were, thats when I decided to call you John's sidekick. Without hesitation you adopted your new title of Honor and wore it proudly.
Now we are proud of you for your service to this community!

RIP my friend.

It's interesting...

I am definitely NOT a social media guy. I seldom look at Facebook or Instagram, but I read these Forums nearly every day without fail. I feel that I've gotten to know several of the regular contributors here and Tony was definitely one I would read whenever I could. He had a way of putting things that was unique and I really enjoyed reading what he had to say.

Although I have not been a regular contributor and have only had my Airstream for 5 years, I have gained so much knowledge from the collective wisdom of this group. Whenever one of the 'major players' leaves us even someone as remotely connected to Tony as I am loses a little something. For those closest to him that loss is tremendous.

I will be praying for Tony's family during this difficult time and I hope they can take comfort in knowing that he touched many, many lives. Even a guy like me thousands of miles away whom he never got to meet.

Mike

We were blessed with the most magnificent few days of New England Autumn weather at the last get together in Cooperstown.

The only gloom was the shared awareness of Tony's situation.

During a moment of casual chatter, under a perfect blue sky, Tony asked me how old I was.

Realizing that I was a few years older than himself, he said "you're really doing alright man." In the light of that moment, his words have resonated with me ever since.

How precious this life is.

Thanks forever for that reminder Tony.

My most sincere condolences to Gabby, and the girls.

Like many others, I never met Tony in person, but felt like a kindred spirit of his through his posts. His witty writing and DIY knowledge added greatly to the community. Deepest condolences to his family.
