Boom Sounds, I saw an old post of yours on replacing the handle-style dead bolt lock mechanism. Though I have an excella trailer I am assuming they must be similar. How much disassembly inside does it require to remove the mechanism? How does on even remove the throw inside? I see no set screws!???? are there any published directions?

Thanks for repling to my thred on the airstream MPG discusson. You mentioned that you get 14 MPG (UK), which is 11.6 MPG(US) or 20 Litre/100km, which is quite acceptable. Could you provide me some details what are exactly the modifications you made to your engine and transmission? I am still earning these Additionally, do you have any other tips to reduce the consumption. Thank you!

    Hello Nick
NO NO I still have my RV.
The reason I am not so often in the forum is I travel a lot for my company (with my Airstream)
I was the last two years in France near Cherbourg this stay has ended last May with a two week vacation in London (Chrystal Palace) and on the beach near Dunwich.
Later on, back home, I had realized that I was illegal in London course of this Congestion Charge but it is now almost a year later with no penalty.
Sorry that I had not remember you, but I will be back for sure some day, it was not the last time I do a vacation in UK, because it was really perfect, even if I have to drive on the “wrong site of the road”.
I feel sorry that you will sell your Airstream, can’t give you any advice about that.
But contact this “Split Window” guy on the forum how much he had paid
    Regards Klaus

Hi, Yes indeed, we bought it from Gert-Jan. He found a much older one to keep himself busy over winter (and probbaly some time longer).
We are going to take the Airstream to Italy for Christmas and New Year, so we may well have some questions after this first real try-out.

I noticed another 250 rather close by. We recently bought a 1990 250 MH; live in The Netherlands. I know of one other 250 in NL, a diesel, which is for sale.
