Well the couch and cushions are in. After a redo with the upholsterer on the seat cushions to better facilitate the roll out bed function. The shape of these cushions is not intuitive for the average upholsterer who hasn't done these before.
Wife approves so all is well.
I have to address the shelf behind the back of the couch. But that can be expanded later.

That looks great! What type of material are you using? Where did you find it?
Do you plan to use the same material on other parts of your coach?
You're doing great work, please continue to keep us updated. Thanks

We picked out the fabric from the Upholstery shop. My wife had an idea what she wanted so that helped. It’s an expensive industrial grade fabric. Can’t see through it where as some we looked at you could. We covered all the places that needed rework so I don’t imagine we will need more, but we do have some extra. Just in case.

I got my Pepwave system this week. Need to install it, which requires running wires through the ceiling to the spot where the old Antenna is. Looking at this I think I need to remove the ceiling panel to get the 5 wires of the antenna to the spot where I want to put the router.
Does anyone know of another way to do this so that I don't have to remove the ceiling?

Hi Beltran,
You mean the inside roof panels? They are quite easy to remove, look for bolts at the driver side of the panel.
I removed all of mine recently to work on the cabeling. Good time to check for leaks. But be careful, the insulation will fall onto you.
Good luck,
Mario

Where are you thinking of installing the router?

The router is in. I managed to pull the satellite dish off and mount the antenna in its place. So no extra holes. I had just enough wire to get to the location of the router.
The ceiling had to come down to route the wires. I was pleasantly surprised of the condition of insulation and in general everything up there. Doesn't look like mice have had a run of the place like in other areas of the MH.
Now I need to figure out what to do with the interior holes for the old TV antenna and Satellite lift controls. Got two holes in my ceiling to patch over with something...

Could 3D print a white plug that would cover all that. Or hang a disco ball from there? Perfect location.
What router and antenna did you use? This is on my list to do at some point as well in the not so distant future.
Looks great BTW!

I did research on 5G plans yesterday. $150 / month for Mobilemusthave. Plus 50 admin fee every time you activate it. Assuming you want the flexibility to turn it on and off when not using it. You get 300gb of data.
Verizon data plan is 30 / month and you can suspend it for 3 months a year, essentially, still not quite sure how that works as I couldn’t get a straight answer from 2 different sales agents. This gets you 30gb premium and unlimited data at a reduced speed.
Figuring our home internet usage and a total of only 4 devices coming with us in Cosmo, I went with the Verizon plan for now.

Ok. I got a wild hair … someplace, and decided it was time to tackle the last bit of carpeting that needed to be replaced. That being, the dog house cover.
After 4 hours of dismantling, scraping and cleaning. I have a naked cover. Now this may excite some of you but after all that effort I assure you it’s not all that exciting. The last person who touched this had WAY too much liquid nails at their disposal.
I was then apparent that I had severe cracks running on the seams and those needed to be addressed before any further work was done. But I ran out of plastic sticks in the process so now I have to go shopping go finish this project. /sigh.
Attached pictures showing the cleaned up dog house and the plastic welding process I use for making repairs.
So I need

Completed. I lined it with ceramic clothe for 1000 degrees of protection. 500 degree silicone adhesive and foil tape over all of it to keep everything in place. On the outside I used closed cell sound deadener adhesive backed. Then stapled the carpet over that. Turned out good and it’s much lighter than it was originally.

Great job. Love the fabric. We have the identical couch, i can't say I've ever found it comfortable enough for extended trips, so we've resorted to a memory foam topper, we probably should have sorted out the foam as well.
In terms of the fabric, we went with moquette which is a really hardwearing wool fabric used on Red London buses etc. We had the couch, seats and driver's/co pilot seats all done in the same stuff to pull it together. It's proved pretty indestructable and looks just like it did when we put it in ten years ago.
Fabric is here, comes in some really great colourways for those who are interested. London Transport used some great designs and we managed to buy some of their stock in the UK.
