My odometer reads about 38k on the 1977 Argosy 24. It does not have a 100,000 digit so I don't know if the odometer has rolled over. The title listed N.A. for mileage (which dmv said was normal for a vehicle of that age). I tend to think that it is 38k actual miles because the vehicle does not have a lot of wear inside and out. I would think if it had 138k miles of use there would be some broken door handles, scraped bumper, or something. Are there any tell-tale signs to look for to indicate high mileage?
Also wear on the steering wheel.drivers arm rest, and on the door. It could very well be original mileage,so many were bought, but only went out once or twice a year.
Also have a mechanic do a compression test, the should tell the 100,000 mi. difference.
