I am excited about my first rally. We bought our AS right before the pandemic and we have been "practicing" for a long time. We are so ready to join the group. It is a LONG way to Maine and I have had fun planning our trip there. After the rally we have to head directly home as quickly as we can to make a family event. Which brings me to my first question that possibly more experienced members could answer.

What does check in day look like? Do we stay at a campground 1 hour or less away the night before (7-22)? I would like to stay a bit further away but I don't want to have a 8:00 - 10:00 AM entry time given to me the day before we arrive. How does that work?

Can we leave early? To allow us a safe exit, I really need to leave on 7-27. Is that a big deal?

You have good reason to be excited. The International Rally is a fun event. This will be our third Int. Rally. While not as experienced as some I will try to answer your questions.

Last question first: Yes you can leave early without any issues. Not a big deal.

Regarding arrival: You will be provided with a "suggested" arrival time. But in reality you can arrive at almost anytime and there are volunteers that will direct you where to park. Of course, if everyone arrives at the same time there will be a delay. Because we are traveling a relatively long distance we plan on arriving on Saturday afternoon.

Also if you would like to park your trailer with someone you will need to arrive together.

We are headed up to the rally from Pennsylvania. We are taking two nights to break the trip into easier chunks. Since we don't get our parking date until April we can't finalize the Harvest Host dates, which is making me crazy given how crowded it can get out there. Looking forward to hanging out.
