I know I might be a bit premature here, but I am excited for this year's International Rally. It seems like there isn't a ton of energy right now regarding the events, etc. Is this because of the COVID situation?

Personally, especially as a first time attendee, I am stoked. I can't wait to find out more regarding the details and meet up with fellow travelers and Airstreamers.

I'll say this, I'll be slinging cheesesteaks at my site!

I would agree I think many people (like us) are waiting to see what happens this spring. We have never been to that part of the county and are also looking forward to it. It should be cooler then Doswell or Lebanon!

We went through Fryeburg this past summer coming back from Acadia, heading towards Intervale before heading south. I don't know that we'll end up back up that way this summer. We'll see.

I think there are a lot of folks excited. According to ACI they are almost out of spots.

You won't see a ton of information on ACI events in airforums except as posted by users since this is not an official forum for ACI.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Last year was our first international rally and we had a great time. This one should be even better.

Excitement is good. Caution is good. Traveling around in an Airstream strikes just the right balance. We won't be there this year, but hope you have a great time!

Where did you hear they are almost out of spots? I was told Fryeburg had room for 3000 Airstreams with water and electric hookups in the three associated campgrounds. Last count I saw was at a little over 700 registered, with the hope that they get to 1000 for the first time since 2007.

I just checked in on the official site, and there is a bit more content there. I'm just chomping at the bit to get back out there.

Trip Route Suggestions from GA

As a newbie I am so excited for this Rally. I am driving from Atlanta and was looking for any suggestions on routes to take that others may have done that were fun in the past. Im planning on it taking awhile over several days obviously. Just thought Id see if any of you have some great experiences or wisdom youd like to share. Thanks!
