The forecast is looking better and better. Let's get this party started. 505 miles from my house to the park. Anyone driving further for this shindig?

That is one of the things I like about Airstream rallies. People from all over and all walks of life.

We have relatives from out of town, but maybe I will drive up Saturday morning in the 58 for the tour of homes by my lonesome just to see some folks and trailers.

D-15 is available

Site D-15 is available. Have some damage to the trailer and will not be able to bring it. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I am thinking that this might be too long a haul for one day. Any suggestions for convenient over night stop along 85 south of Atlanta?

Our spot is possibly available

Our spot is possibly available. I injured my back Saturday afternoon as bad as I have ever hurt it and it has gotten much worse since then. I currently am unable to even hook up the camper (am barely able to put my socks on). As much as we have been looking forward to it, if things don't get better, I don't see where we can make it. I'm not sure if the event is full or not but send me a PM if you want to get my spot. I'm going to get a shot in my back today, so hopefully it will help.

I had big plans for re-polishing my trailer this past Saturday and didn't get anything done. It's very discouraging and frustrating at this point.

Thanks, G

If it's just getting you hooked up that would keep you from coming, let me know. I'll come up and hook you up. Socks? You're on your own, pal.

FDR State Park in Pine Mountain is really nice, pretty close to your path. Or, Blanton Creek (??), which is a campground run by Georgia Power north of Columbus in Hamilton. If you can get north of ATL a little bit (Marietta), PM me and you could stay in our driveway.
