Thanks DG. Last weekend it will be. It's a good weekend as the end of October would be the coolest and it gets so hot down there. Now we can start planning our weekend.

Yes, a Halloween Theme

like the first norcal rally at luguna seca, we will have a halloween theme. lots of pumpkins, scarecrows, jack-o-laterns, a cowboy and DG to scare the little ones. haha. sounds fun.

too bad

4 of the usual suspects can not make it the last weekend, the orginal margy ball has another commitment. Now if it is the third weekend you will have 4 more happy campers

I don't believe we have voted. We'd vote for the 3rd weekend.

Two more usual suspects would REALLY prefer the 3rd weekend, as the last weekend is a marching band field competition in which one of our daughters is the drum major and field show conductor.

Tough choice choosing between the two events.

No, it isn't a 'tough choice'. In '92-'93 our son did the same thing your daughter will be doing. We wouldn't have missed it! Kids grow up too fast. AS Rallys will go on forever.

I was kidding about the tough choice - kids always come first.

I liked the idea of repolling between the two weekends as choices. (I had thought of creating another screen name just to break the tie - but that would be slightly dishonest.)

Virginia

Below is a picture of her leading the band in a Disneyland parade last January.

What a beautiful young lady! You have got to be so proud. It does not matter to Lynn and I what weekend may eventually decided upon so maybe will still meet.

So you whip out a picture of your kid we have to show you ours. This is Todd in '93. He's still in 'blue'. US Navy since '94. He is in Kuwait now.

Neil and Lynn hope we didn't 'hi jack' this thread.

Vote

i can't complain.

mr. k didn't vote.

so i take personal responsibility for my behavior. (after all Ventura County is RED, just like me)

however if i had voted, it would have been for week three.

Not Invited

Gee , I was not invited to the bolsa chica rally in so cal the 4th weekend. It appears to be a invitation only thing.Maybe I'm to direct or something like that. Thats really what the problem is - isn't it? Now you want another vote? what about the northern cal folks who voted for weekend 4 and can not make week 3? You can't have it both ways folks. If I lived in so cal and was not invited to bolsa chica I would be upset, but I live up north where it's all good. Oh I cannot make week 3 thats why I voted for 4.

We're in...

We'll be at the lake, with a spare Margarita Ball just in case.. Sorry to miss a number of usual suspects, but we'll do our best to meet new ones and expand the circle of Airstream Internet Outlaws....

I think I can probably go either weekend but it seems like a good idea to have a run off vote since in our ever-so-official poll it was actually a tie between the last two weekends.

Let's not have any hanging chads here...

Didi and I have a conflict for the last weekend. We made reservations a while ago at a seasonal campground in Huntington Beach, Bolsa Chica State Beach.
Sorry to miss the Rally. Looks like it will be a little more of a true Nor Cal Rally for you guys this time.
