However, about two weeks out, many people cancelled, so I could have gotten in after all.
Don't give up.

This year, a wonderful Airstreamer PM'd me that they were going to cancel, and we coordinated a time for me to be waiting on the Reserve America site. I saw the spot open up and I jumped on it within seconds. Teamwork.

BTW, Wandering Labs never e-mailed me when spots opened up. Even after I donated to their website.

Hi,
Looking for a spot to camp for the CanOpener in January.
Just checked Reserve America, unfortunately all are taken. If anyone is thinking about canceling???
Should of thought about this earlier.

Rally within A Rally - New Year's Eve - RSVP

For those of you arriving early, begin your New Year’s celebration with fresh fried catfish and all the trimmings, hosted by your your Arkansas Canopenians. Cooked on site, your tastebuds will dance too, when they experience a local favorite fish in Razorback country, plus French fries and coleslaw. Bring your hardware & drink.

Then dance the night away waiting for 2019 to arrive. We will have desserts, including a chocolate fountain, coffee and a midnight toast. BYOB.

Please RSVP to this thread if you'll be arriving by New Year's Eve.

How can you help? we need about 10 desserts ONLY - including fruit, cubed pound cake, cubed brownies for the fountain; and for those who don't want to cook: coolers w/ice for the bubbly, coffee cups, creams and sugars, dessert plates, plasticware, napkins, and skewers for the fountain.

Check back to the Canopener schedule for times - location will be the Clubhouse.
