Absolutely open to all newcomers! The only problem might be getting into the Fox area. I'm not sure they have many sites left, but I'm sure you'll find something somewhere in the campground, and we'd love to have you join us!

welcome airstreamJOY!
Hi AirstreamJOY! How exciting that you will be joining us. You can just never have too many silver belles...or patron margies! There may still be some odd numbered Fox sites left - they are not on the lakeside, but just a stones throw away.
I would love to learn to knit. My 7 year old son just learned to finger knit in his 2nd grade class and I gotta say, it looks relaxing and fun!
I love your Forums name by the way - airstreams are a joy, aren't they?!

Welcome Roxanne!
That caravel of yours is so cute and shiny! We have lots of experienced and very helpful towers in the group so someone will get you safely tucked in.
And your not-low-rent site is just a short amble away from silver central.
See you in March!

Hi again.
For the newbies...we are very casual and flexible.
Whatever you want to do is fine.
Everything is optional but also inclusive.
We usually have a potluck on Saturday night and sometimes another on Sunday morning for brunch.
(We always have way too much food so leftovers are often featured the next day )
We also often go out to eat to explore the local area.
And of course we have those meals around the campfire where everyone brings their own plate of something and we eat together.
It's pretty spontaneous depending on how everyone is feeling and what people want to do.
Hope that helps.

Updated List
Wow, what a great group so far! Come on girls, don't be shy! Show your Rosie pride and join us for a really fun weekend. Here's our list to date:
#E-3 - airstreamJOY
#8 - Krikles - Roxanna
#14 - Fiestalisa - Lisa
#16 - Kristiana
#22 - Airdmr - Meredith
#24 - Janetb - Janet
#26 - Bamcamper - Laurel
#28 - Timemachine - Cat
#30 - Thecats&I - Michelle
---------------------------
9 people attending this event! Remember to sign up for the rally on the Rally Calendar page too!
In addition to our Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch potlucks, it's also tradition to open our trailers for tours during happy hours. It's so fun to see other trailer interiors. And, if we can convince our very own jewelry designer to bring some of her bling bling, we might even get to do a little shopping in her silver trailer.
Hope everyone is staying dry. We are supposed to get a heck of a storm today and lasting through Monday. We need it, so bring it on!

Thanks for the list Meredith!
Janet the rad Mod. offered to do a rally ad for us and it's up and running so maybe we'll be adding some more silver souls to the roster.
Thanks, Moderator Janet--it's great!
So here are my offerings for the rally: (Is it too early to do this?)
Vegetarian dish for the potluck and a pie for dessert.
Misc. snack food and drink.
Eggs if my chickens are laying again by then. Lazy old biddies...
I feel like getting my umbrella and boots and dancing in this rain! What a needed deluge.
Stay warm and well!
Janet

I just saw the Rally ad...very nice. Thanks.
Hope we get some more Silver Sistahs to join us.
Newbies: We'll be waiting for you!
I too am loving the rain but my trailer is leaking water onto the floor under the frig and I won't have time to take it in for service until after the CA Streamers Winter Rally. Meanwhile it's soggy towels.
But I'll take it as we really do need the rain.
And speaking of potlucks...
We always seem to have loads of food (and drink ).
*lightbulb goes on above my head*
What if we have a type of food theme for the potluck so dishes coordinate well...like Italian food or Mexican food or ??
I vote possibly Mexican as there are so many things that go well with it...
like various chips and salsas and dips and of course Margaritas.
Thoughts?
