WDCU Caravan to Madison
Wagon Boss here... getting the word out to any WDCU members and any other East Coast WBCCI member wanting to go on a caravan to the International. If you want to come on a fun adventure to the International, we want you join us.
We will be gathering in Pittsburgh on June 23 at a Cracker Barrel. We will leave together first thing June 24 for the Jackson Center. We have arraigning for a special tour and will be spending the night. The plan is to park in a wagon wheel and host a cookout for anyone staying at the Terra Port or any factory employes that want to join us. The 25th we are going to the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart Indiana to do a wagon wheel there. They are excited to have us come and we are getting a special presentation on the history of RVing. The Hall of Fame also has a TV crew or two lined up to interview us. They have also hired a professional photographer to document our visit. The 26th we are going to meet the other VAC members at the parade rendezvous location.
Rob Baker is Leader of the caravan, I am the Wagon Boss, and traveling with me will be Dale "Pee Wee" Schwamborn, our official Scout. The job of caboose is still to be filled. This is a pay your own way caravan. We hope everyone coming will contribute in the appropriate situations, but there is no obligation to do anything you do not want to. The only rule with this caravan is that you must be in the WbCCI. This is due to insurance and the legalities of it all.
Anyone seriously interested should let us know you are coming. You will need to register for the rendezvous in Jefferson WI. The form is here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f289...tml#post696417

Proven Leadership in the Washington D.C. Unit
I am looking forward to riding with our wagon boss to Madison. Frank did very well on the Caravan through the mall in D.C. He was a great caboose.
Here is a picture of our Washington D.C. Mall Caravan. This is Alexanderia, VA.

Don't forget Dave and I are going to catch up with y'all at the RV museum! I guess half a caravan is better than none.

Rhonda, you are on the list. We are hoping to get a solid number of attendees so I know how many spokes each wagon wheel needs and all the tours and what not.
Pee Wee, thank you for the compliment, but on this caravan we will be at least an hour ahead of the caravan. You know, scouting the road, filling in the holes, looking out for herds of elephants in the road...

Compass in Hand
We will know, west and north.
There is concern about native riots.
There is bleak news coming from the jungles. Swamps, mosquitos, quick sand and creepy snakes.
We must be wary of the trail we follow.

Urgent New Flash
The Wisconsin Natives are known to sour milk, age the brew and make a funny food called cheese.
They also are known in Wisconsin to frement hops, and other mixtures to create a drink called beer. This makes their town of Milwaukee famous.
The Wisconsinians are strange natives.
More pre-Caravan information forthcoming.

Travel Alert - Ohio
We have just changed our route to Jackson Center, OH. We have found that someone has taken the center of the highway. Possible pun intended, it may be that Jackson stole the Center.
One of the Jackson Center villagers is waiting to greet us.

Hey PeeWee! I resemble that remark
My family and I (all six of us) will be pulling down from Waukesha, WI to join you'all in Jackson Center for the caravan back into Wisconsinian Land... or whatever you Arizoninians call it.
We missed our chance at to show you how we fit six in a Globetrotter when we canceled for CBR, but thank God for second chances. We can't wait to join the group in JC, even if they've stolen the center of the road.

Great! I assembled those remarks.
I heard nothing but good things about you and your family, and you were missed at the CBR.
See ya soon!

I'd give my eye teeth to travel on this caravan! Can anyone write a two-week excuse from work for me?

Hey , Would you guys bring me a new Rock Guard from Jackson Center and save me the shipping charges. It is for a 31 foot 71 International Sovereign. I live about three miles from the RV/Mh HOF and one of the Curators is a good friend. You all will have a great visit!

Yes, PeeWee, many seldom-seen tribes inhabit Darkest Wisconsin, like the one that made these strange idols from concrete and beer bottles. . .
(Wisconsin Concrete Park, Phillips, WI)
And remember. . . beware the dreaded tourist trap!

Yes, the Crete-Bots are one of the more "solid" tribes of the Wis-Con's.

Another Wis-con-sin tribe
Another tribe that you will no doubt encounter in the vicinity of Madison is the Wis-con-sin you-nut of the dubya bee see see aye. WBCCI Wisconsin Unit
Members of this tribe should be treated with respect as they possess powerful magic. As evidence you need look no farther than the fact that this you-nut is growing in number even as many you-nuts of the dubya bee see see aye are dwindling.
I think the beer has something to do with it. . .

In the thickets and wickets we might see the marauding "Cheese Head" warriors.
