    Hello PeeWee.
I came across some of your posts while doing research on a trailer I just bought. I am new to these things and bought a '57 Bubble I saw sitting in a driveway in Phoenix. I'm not sure why since it needs to be restored and I have no time or budget.
Anyway, I just wanted to reach out to you since it looks like you are an authority on these and see if you could give me a little insight on my Airstream. I can't find much history so far. it is a 1957 16' Bubble with the cool whale tail rear end. Has been modified some on the interior, restroom removed, and was used as a hunting rig in Colorado for a large part of it's life.
    Thank you,
    Frank in Phoenix.

    Greetings,
I am John Hall's stepdaughter. I came across your commentary while trying to look up some of our old sailboats online. My mother had also heard the rumor of John's demise in Mexico...I would be interested in finding him as well. I haven't seen him since the 70s, however, my mom was with him throughout the building and design of the Revcon...
You mentioned WA...was your conversation with him over the internet or by phone?

    Appreciate any info,

    Shirley

    Pee Wee -
This evening, I showed my grandmother, Doris (Willis) Hansson the pictures you posted in the "What's Wally Carrying" post.

This came about because a while back, my mother, Suzanne mentioned visiting a "nudist camp" in Del Mar in the mid 1930's with her mom & dad Doris & Clyde, and her twin brothers (infants at that time), and recalled the fella that "ran" it showed her a trap door spider house. His name was Bill Blitch.

I did a google search, and found your post. My grandmother just turned 100, has great vision, though her short-term/recent memory is a bit spotty.

She remembered the Schwamborns & Byams. She mentioned that her husband, Clyde Willis built a two-holer at Bill's camp. She mentioned that he scavenged the Del mar dump, too.

If you have any other family pictures from Del Mar from the 30's, I'd love to show them to my grandmother. Feel free to call, too!

Best regards & a Merry Christmas.
