Houston mechanic

Do you all have a recommendation for a mechanic shop in the Houston area to do some minor work on my 2011 Interstate? I don't want to take it all the way to Buda Texas just to have my batteries checked/replaced and a cover put on the battery housing (small recall item).

For the recall you may have to take it back to an Airstream dealer. Depending on the other work you want done, you might consider a Sprinter dealer. In Houston, that would be Alex Rodriguez Mercedes Benz, just off of I-45 at the League City Parkway exit.

I've never used Rodriquez MB for service, but when I attended a rally at Sam Rayburn Lake, I programmed the dealership into my GPS in case I needed service while on the road. I do that every time I go camping; in addition to programming the location of the campground, I find the location of the nearest Sprinter dealer and the nearest Airstream dealer, and program those into my GPS as well.

If the other work is just batteries, that's a do-it-yourself. Opening up the house battery compartment is not difficult. Then take it to whatever battery seller you choose.

The house batteries are covered by the 3 year warranty according to my dealer.
