I have a Ford F-250 diesel and top off about every 2,000 miles and after every oil change. I keep a 2-1/2 gallon jug in my truck just in case.

What year is your truck? My 2018 only tells me when it is low!

I often but it at AG stores but you can find it in WalMart, autp parts, truck stops and some gas stations. I find best prices at AG stores.

Hi

As delivered my F350 was less than clear about DEF tank level (without poking here or there). Some "quality time" with the manual showed that I could swap around things on the display. I now have a "gas gauge" that shows DEF all the time, right there in front of me.

You might dig into your manual and see if GM did the same sort of thing.
