Hmmmm... as a sidebar to recalls, they are sometimes of general interest because they tend to reveal business-confidential production data that are not typically disclosed by private companies such as Airstream. Only Airstream knows for sure how many Interstates it is currently manufacturing. The rest of us don’t.
This recall says there are 89 potentially impacted Interstates. In the notice I read, there’s no date range stated (unless I missed it) during which those 89 were produced. It infers a specific layout, of which there are now just two, correct? The rear lounge and the rear twin.
If this issue impacted the entire model year’s production, I would have suspected it to be a higher number, but what the heck do I know...
