Ha! Love the S500! I should try towing with my 1995 300D (non turbo 124)!

Just dragged home my first Airstream! 1993 29' Excella. TV is my 2019 Ram 2500 4X4 w/ Cummins 6.7 diesel. Both filthy from driving home through a snow storm, but safe and sound.

Welcome to Airforums!
Good job towing your first Airstream home. Your combo looks great.
I towed our 95 34’ home from Michigan in a snowstorm about 8 years ago. It was a good feeling to be home safe.

Canyon and FC20

2018 GMC Canyon V6. Very happy with this. Very easy and capable tow. Even over high elevation Colorado passes. Upgrading to Mallett Supercharger, so that will be fun.

My combination has changed through the years, but I’m still using my 2001 2500HD (8.1L and Allison). I bought it new and it started life as a plain work truck, now I think it looks quite dapper. I upgraded the wheels, mirrors, added running boards and sometimes use a camper top. Here are a few examples of its many combinations: 1976 Argosy, 2012 Flying Cloud, 1978 Alaskan. I’m counting on keeping this truck for quite a few more years.

That Argosy, hope you still have it. Something about those trailers I really like.

Chevrolet must have made a million of those trucks and SUVs in that model era. I had one, too, and it was great — most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.

Digging that old-style camper top!
