I'm watching this thread with great interest. For some reason, we are having difficulty coming up with names for our Airstreams. I'm hoping the bolt of inspiration will hit soon as it is quite boring to call the Airstream by its year.

With a focus on vintage, and a nod to Disney, how about :
1954 22' Flying Cloud - "Great Prince"
1964 Bambi II - "Bambi"
2002 19' Bambi - "Flower" or "Thumper"

Since we are doing the interior of ours in a nautical/carabean(sp) theme,
in honor of the first (and favorite) ship I was on, we're thinking
"short beach" (AS-9).
Great thread!!

After Disney, Jimmy Buffett/Caribbean is our second favorite theme in life so we named ours after one of our favorite Buffett songs, " Changes in Latitudes" to match our desired use for our Airstream. We decorated the interior of our 30' Safari in a three way combination of Disney, tropical, and safari motifs.

Our little airstream is called the "S Tardis". As sci fi fans and long term fans of "Dr. Who" on BBS... we thought the name appropriate. The S is for "silver" and Tardis stands for = Time and Relative Distance in Space.
Hubby calls his Flying Cloud a "lady in waiting"... it is waiting for him to get back to work on her! She has been off the frame for about a year now. [Just because his honey-do list is long....]

We named our 72 Argosy "Old Rivets", the Argosy 22 rear door rollover we called, simply, "the junker", our Overlander was named "Goliath", because it was so much larger than the Argosies. The current trailer we have named "Bertha", since it is even larger than the Overlander. I don't know what we'd name a 34'er if we ever got one...

fun thread! When my parents brought home the 34.5 MH I was shocked at the size and said "that thing's the Titanic!" and named it the s.s.caldwell after them. I have since renamed her the s.s.sloan after our family now that we're buying it. Since reading the posts on airforums I have to say my favorite name on here is Zepplinium

How about "Silver Dog House". Husband says he got the Airstream so he can take his new dog hunting, and we did take our first long trip to go pick the pup up in Lovell Wyoming.

First Airstream was a 1982 motorhome named "Seymour" after a previous owner.
Second Airstream never got around to naming - we only had her 27 days before her untimely demise - see "Is It Totaled". And yes, it was totaled.
When we do find the replacement I guess we could name it "Rebate" for the insurance settlement we received or "Re-bait" for all the camping and miles we hope to catch. (Anyone know of a good Airstream for sale?)

AIRSTREAM 1
The paint scheme and the nose art lend to the name. The logo stops traffic every day. A constant source of amusment to me and my customers.
I call the logo the best $150 graphic art fee ever. The stickers done by Vinyl Lettering Banners Decals Custom Graphics Stickers for cheap and they've been very color fast.
