Been meaning to ask - will your holder clear the head on the new tongue jacks that Airstream is using or will an extended mount be needed?

Hey Al, yep, Airstream threw me a curve ball when they switched to that new jack with the ''big head''. It will require an extended bracket.
Back to the drawing board.

Thanks John. I suspected it might not. I'm thinking about a new trailer so hopefully the new mount will fit the older holders.

Sometimes turning the jack motor 90 degrees gains some clearance at the cost of convenience. Choose the side wisely....

We held the inaguarlai Utah's Wasatch Airstream club rally this weekend in Torrey, UT-just outside Capital Reef National Park. I wanted to show you that I represented Sandlapper well with the flag holders. Something tells me you may be receiving an inquiry or two from Utah...

John, based on flag holder sales at Lewisburg, I suggest you start your mfg process right away for the Escanaba get together! Based on the number of folks who asked about mine, and the folks who were looking for you, it was almost like the "rush to Rita" at Alumalina! Barry

Hey Paul, very glad you and Linda stopped by. I am still looking forward to the cold beer and fried fish just up the road from us.
I recently placed holders on two new trailers with the large motor like yours. The holder must be mounted low on the jack post, with enough room to still operate the coupler latch. The center pole will have slight contact with the plastic of the motor but nothing drastic. No complaints from owners.
Some time in the near future I may need to add about 1/2'' to the clamps, to gain a tad of space. However, that will likely cause a clearance problem for the tailgate when it is dropped while hitched up.
If it's not one thing it is ten others.

John, sounds like the holder might work on my classic.
When do you want to get together for the fish and beer? I like both want too much.
We will be leaving on August 1st and be gone the whole month. We're heading to the mountains for a week, then to Amish country in Ohio and end up in Jackson Center for a few warranty fixes.
