Hi,
Ever consider making a flag holder for Airstream Classic Motorhomes? I have the little flag holder on the front of mine, but would love to be able to fly the American Flag whenever I camp.
Thanks, Derek

Good for you (and the wife), a great Christmas gift for sure. Maybe a big red bow on the front!

Derek, heck yes I've thought about a holder for all my Moho friends. Just haven't been able to come up with a "universal" mounting bracket yet. The actual holder part would work on anything, even the side of a barn, but the mounting bracket would have to be custom.
I will be at the Florida State Rally in February , if you don't have one by then maybe we can figure it out. John

Now maybe it is just me, but that is not the best hiding place I have ever seen. Kinda like an elephant trying to hide behind a fence post or something, still sticks out a bit on both sides...

Bought a different pole Sandlapper, will let you know how it works out. (it may not fit in the hole, little bit bigger around..) And I still have not tried out that surcee. Had to hang Holiday lights all over the house today...

Chuck, always looking for a better mousetrap, let me know about the pole you are testing. Mr.LongArm has a nice aluminum pole but a little harder to locate. If push came to shove you might could enlarge the holes a bit. They are 1 1/8"
Bud looks like he has gotten into the Holiday spirit as well with his new string of lights. A real stand out at night I bet. Just keep him out of the egg nog.

Hi John,
Planning on at least driving down to the State Rally in February. Doubt that the moho will make it, 9 new tires can put a serious dent in the budget.
PM me as to what booth space you think you may be in.
Thanks, Derek

Geeze, I thought putting 6 tires on my trailer was bad! (unless ya count the other 6 on my truck). My tire guy just LOVES to see me coming!

Pink Camo

Finally figured out a way to hide that ugly old flag pole holder.

OK, Kidding, it is not ugly, but this still gets some attention....especially when plugged in and all lit up for party time.

'' I see tha' lights , I see tha' party lights!'' Don't remember who, or when, but it was a line from an old song, from back in the day. Heck, it's still good today.
On a similar note, I bored a hole near the butt hole of one of my Flamingos, stuffed him with a strand of Christmas lights. He is a real show off.

Well the flag holder arrived a few days ago and I just installed it yesterday...EZ,PZ.
Here is a picture with the unit installed.
Now I have to look for quality Flags to match the quality and workmanship of the holder.

Thanks John, it was a pleasure to do business with you.

Lowe's appears to no longer carry the fluted aluminum poles. They have been replaced with a steel pole that is painted grey. Have hopes that they will be a bit stronger than the aluminum version since I've had several of these break but time will tell I guess. If you still want aluminum a smooth version is available at Ace Hardware for $17.95.

I got my flag paint poles at Manards and they were under $10 each for the 6 footers
