If I were going to buy a used '90 34' Excella 1000, what model-specific things should I be concerned with? (I'm speaking of things other than the standard litany of cautions, such as condition of skin, leaks, interior condition, etc...)
Polybutylene plumbing was a problem - but it may have been phased out by 1990. And sometime in the 90's Airstream installed a vinyl ceiling that failed to stay glued in place, but I think that was more in the mid 90's. Anyone know?
Otherwise, it would be hard would be hard to fault these magnificent coaches.
We love our 93 29' Excella, I've done a lot of work to her but it was all due to low or no maintenance over the years. You could view my thread "Excella is full of surprises" and it would give you lots of things to look for when you go to inspect the unit. To me all or at least most of It could have been prevented with proper maintenance over the years.
