Thanks again
Take it to your friendly, local hardware, big box hardware or local plumbing supply store. The valve is a common residential type.

Go to a plumbing supply store that supplies plumbers.
Not only will they have the parts you need, but they will have the detailed expanded drawings and instructions for rebuilding the faucet. Steel yourself for what the parts cost.

Hi jerrodwong--The Moen part number is either 1224, or 1225 (I'm pretty sure it is 1225). One is long, and the other short. The one you took out of your shower is brass and long. The replacement will be clear plastic, and the same length, but it will work OK. You can find them in just about any big box, or hardware store. Instruction are included. Price is about $10.--Frank S
