Filtered water?

Wondering about our kitchen faucet and the water filter. We purchased used so I am not really sure about the filter faucet set up. I am wondering if the water coming out of the main faucet is filtered or only the water from the spicket in the center of the faucet.

You have a Moen faucet and, yes, you have filtered water available on demand. If you look under the sink, on the left side, you will see the cartridge. It is good for 6 months or 140 gallons.

It is a Moen 9601 cartridge and it comes with a replacement battery for the indicator. Amazon has OEM filters and clones — I use the Aqua Sense 9601.

Forgot to note that the water coming out of the aerator at the tip of the faucet is NOT filtered. The filtered water is controlled by the small handle on the right.
