My dealer had the clone of the one on EBay. It was on the lot when I still had my old TrailManor (dealer also carried TM at the time). It was the first Airstream I had seen with a slide and it about knocked my socks off.

This is the trailer that got our interest in Airstreams. We saw it at the St. Louis RV show in January 2001. I think they were asking $63,000 for it at the time. Too rich for my blood....but a beautiful trailer. Picked up a brochure and 10 weeks later ordered my Safari.

Here's your opportunity to pick up that Classic you can't live without for just pennies on the dollar!

Yes I really love that trailer but if you pay $55,000 the minute you walk out the door its now worth $45,000 in the eyes of your insurance company and for future resale.....unless these anniversary models are considered collectables.

Oh, geez... it's ONLY money, and you can't take it with you!

That's a true story... the depreciation is a killer. I can think of lots of things to do with that $10k... I'm not sure that even the anniversary models are immune from that kind of depreciation. They may be desireable, but I'm not sure that they're more valuable.
