I knew I shouldn't have gone to the bathroom...durn trouble makers

Fyrzowt,
Just so you know we moderators have magical powers we don't have to be logged in to smell trouble brewing

BUSTED! Sorry if my humor at 3AM doesn't match your 7AM humor. There was NO ill intent, troublemaking, etc going on. I had been up running a medical call and figured I would check the forum. The were no Mods on which is not usual and just wanted to have some fun with it. Check the other replies - all in good humor.
Good Monday to you.

It's OK. It's a well known fact that moderators are intensely literal creatures with no sense of humor. We alphabetize our spice racks, sort our junk drawers weekly and have little stickers on our keyboards that say "remember.. it's just a hobby, lighten up"

Duly noted, on review that came out harsh, no harm intended - I'll go home and get some sleep.

Gee Janet,
That page must be missing from MY moderator's manual ...as far as spice racks are concerned I have no clue what is anything but the hot sauce bottle

It's missing from mine as well, and I not only alphabetize my spice racks, I align the labels to view the expiration dates.

Gee, I don't delve on the spice racks, I just save the assorted screws and other things that I find on the floor of my trailer. Then when things get slow here on the forum, I dump them on the table and try to figure out where they came from.

Jack, we used to have an old trick when riding with friends who were Harley fans... while we were in for a gas stop, we'd chuck a nut underneath somebody's Harley. It was entertaining watching them try to figure out where it came from. They never seemed to appreciate the humor, but then they were Harley riders... I guess I'll have to bring a few screws and rivets to the next Moraine View gathering too?

That's odd, because page 27 in my Member's Manual stipulates that we "must occaisionally stop alphabetizing spice racks, sorting junk drawers, or similar activity (at intervals not to exceed 14 minutes) to confirm the presence of Moderators on-line... " Then there's some crap about lack of Moderators online rarely happening.

Page 28 contains a peel-off, keyboard-size sticker which says "Remember.. You need supervision - Never post if a Moderator is not online."

I don't think that your routine is unique to Moderators, I have a fairly large collection as we speak...maybe they are just "leftovers" or "extras".

You realize, of course, that if there were no optional parts left over, the trailer was not put together right...

1 AM, I'm only awake because of work.

No Mods on. We'll all be good, promise!

9 registered members on

537 guests on.

How do we convert guests to members...hmmmm

How many members (and Mods ) are on, but not logged on....

So many questions....so few answers...I think I'll go to bed.
