Anything made by International Harvester, but especially the light line trucks.

Right-o! And if we are talking "design icons"--instantly recognizable shapes--slightly ahead of the Airstream trailer on the short list is the distinctive Coke bottle.

I think I'll add the Greyhound Bus. It was designed by an Italian (Raymond Lowey) but he did it in America so it qualifies.

Alexander Graham Bell's story is more complicated. Born in Scotland, he eventually emigrated to Canada. Later he was in Boston and performed experiments which led to the telephone in both Brantford, Ontario, and Boston. It appears the first working model was in Boston. Eventually Bell set up a lab in Baddeck, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, and spent time in both the US and at Baddeck. He became a US citizen. It appears both Canada and the US can claim the telephone. The Wikipedia article is a bit unclear about some of the details of this: Alexander Graham Bell - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Canada still has Bachman Turner Overdrive and the Guess Who.

Dunno Walter. That was just a photo I found on Google.
I don't drive the Ns anymore. I went Ford Blue.
Not Iconic like the 8Ns but far superior machines.
Edit: Ha! Finally figured out how to edit my avatar.
