Anybody here join this? They offer 50% off on CG rates at over 1000 CGs. Checked a few of them and they seem to have restrictions, ie if they are 75% full no discount. And certain months no discount. Just wondering if its worth 40$ a year. Sal.

We are currently members. I have mixed emotions about the program.

There are restrictions that seem to vary by campground. Some restrict holidays, weekends, number of consecutive days, certain months, etc.

So far, the most value to us has been for the single overnight stops while traveling to some ultimate destination where we will be for about a week.

I went ahead and joined for a year. We are makking a 4-6 week excursion cross country later this year and the campgrounds that I looked at mostly recognized the Camp Club 50% rate. We'll see and I'll report back whether it was worth it to me. For the $40, I could save that in 2 stops, so we'll just have to see how it goes.

one might also look at something like Coast to Coast etc. The initial fee is about $100.per year, but the nightly camping is about $10 to 20 /nite with less restrictions and many are "resort" type clubs.
