Starting angle of tag axle on 1984 345 MH?

Did some searches and have come up empty. An email to Airstream yielded no information. Hoping someone here knows the answer.

I am need of replacing the tag axle (torsion axle) on our 84 345 motorhome. I can do all the measurements except the starting angle since the axle has partially collapsed. Does anyone know what the starting angle on this axle is?

I am really just trying to find out what the starting angle is supposed be at this point.

We believe that information is proprietary, since it cannot be given to us.

Also, it is different for different models.

Emails to Airstream sometimes do not get timely answers. I know, I've tried. You might want to give Customer Service a call.

Talked to Airstream, nice folks there but this MH is so old they do not have access to the engineering data or even know if it exists. They referred me to Henshen who referred me to their one and only distributer who has not provided any specific information other than a willingness to sell a new axle. Which is fine that is his business, and I may end up purchasing a new axle from him, but first I need to figure out what is going on and what my options may be.

I thought someone here might have that information from going through this effort previously. So far no one has shown up. But I am making progress and will eventually get it figured out.
