Globetrotter 23FB Air Conditioner

Does anyone know what size AC is in the GT 23FB? The Airstream website shows a 13,500 BTU, but Colonial's website GT 23FB inventory shows 15,000 BTU on the Airstream sticker. I hope Colonial is correct.

I saw what you’re talking about on the specs on the 2020 23’ GT on Colonial’s site. Unfortunately I think it’s a misprint on Airstream’s side.

We had a 2018 23’ Flying Cloud FBQ and the 13,500 BTU AC was adequate.

For reference, I found a 2020 FC23FBQ listed on Colonial’s site and it shows the 13,500 BTU AC and 18,000 BTU furnace. The 2020 23’ GT shows a 15,000 BTU AC but a 13,500 BTU furnace. Sure looks like they mixed up their numbers.

Call Airstream directly to get a straight answer. Either way, we love our new Globetrotter; I’m sure you will too!

I sure hope not. Airstream needs to put a 15k on the 23’ Unit. We upgraded our 23D to a 15K unit and it has been a game changer in the summer heat. Night and Day difference.

If it is the 13,500 as standard, I don't see why they wouldn't offer the 15,000 as an option. I believe they both fit in the same mounting.

Correct. Mine was a direct swap. Even was able to use the same air distribution box.

Just heard from Airstream rep that 15,000 BTU AC is standard on 23FB GT. The website and brochure are incorrect.

Roadtech, that’s great news! Glad to hear Airstream stepped up and did the right thing by adding the 15K unit to the Globetrotter. It should have the best of everything!

Happy camping!
