I like the floor plan now that i have seen it, but, the 30 Works great for me, so, after I wear this one out, I will see what's on the market at that time. The New 33 works great for me, the TV is not an issue since I am not a TV person, so I never turn the one's on I have now. I will wait and see how things work out.

What is the 33's GVW? Still 10,000#? Or did they step up to 2 7,000# axles?

It's still 10000 lb according to what I read on the airstream website.

And then it won't matter. Once you get use to them, and tweaked the way you want them, they are just the ticket.

The hitch weight blows me away. Even with my F250 I'd be somewhat concerned with payload.

And not digging the idea of $46,000 replacement cost for the truck and $141,000 replacement cost for the trailer...
Part of the logic behind buying a Toyota and an Airstream is so they will last my lifetime and beyond.

Another thing I just noticed is the sofa is narrow so that you can't lay down on it like on the 30 classic. The only place you can lay down is on the bed in the 33.

Do you really think the sofa on the 33 is more narrow than the 30? How did you determine such?

Justin,
I am so grateful for your post.
you've addressed several of my questions/concerns about the new 33.
As consumers it's not often that we see so much company participation on forums such as this. It makes me even more proud that I'm an Airstream owner and i can't wait to do a walk through.
Keep up the good work on a great American product/Icon.

Simply looking a the photo's of the trailer you can clearly see it's more of a love-seat size versus a full sofa.

I just watched the 33 Classic video done by Airstream. I wasn't a fan of the new layout until I watched this video. Now I have trailer lust...and I have only had my 2017 Classic for 3 months. The dealer videos just didn't do it justice. It is awesome.
One thing that the Airstream spokesperson kind of just slipped in when showing the bathroom is the "33 Classic now includes a hot water booster". I wonder if that part or system will be made available to all 2017 Classic owners as an upgrade? Guess they figured out there is an issue with the hot water supply on our trailers.

Has anyone seen the 33 classic in person? If so, what are your thoughts?

We are headed to the Tampa RV Show tomorrow. We'll try and get some pictures if they have one.

Yes there is a 33 Classic at the Tampa RV Show.

It's very nicely appointed. Not sure I'm crazy about the pull-down TV screen. The projector lamp was fairly hot.

The shower is enormous.

The mid-section recliners don't seem to recline, they just have footrests, as I recall.

I did snap a few pictures and will try and post later.

Thanks. What did you think about the layout?
