Factory new twin Airstream mattresses

We have two new twin mattresses from our 25' FC to give away if someone would like to pick them up. Hate to hall them off to the dump when there still in the plastic covers. Replaced them with Rock Mountain mattresses. We live in Blue Ridge, GA. guyel841@gmail.com

Can you point me to the mattresses you replaced them with?

That makes two of us ;-) We purchased a new 2017 30' FC and the mattresses are junk and AS will not replace them.

We recently replaced the RV queen in our 2014 AS with a top-of-the-line Denver mattress. (It was their only model with radius corners.) It’s much better than the hideous original mattress, but our verdict is that this Denver mattress is too soft and we cannot recommend it.

Yes the above is the site we purchased the mattresses from. They have the measurements for the twin and make different types. We bought the 8" memory foam type with the gel top. Very pleased with them.

The give away mattresses have been claimed and already picked up by someone locally.

What a *fantastic* use of crappy RV mattresses.

NOT crappy - :)

Well, I am looking forward to the "crappy" mattresses. Thanks again Guy for posting and it was real nice of my nearby relatives in GA to arrange pick-up with you. They have to be a little better than the original dated 9/2/1955 Airstream Mattresses that are currently in our trailer. And yes, we will be saving our original ones since they were hardly used.
Thanks again for the post and the mattresses.

Twin Mattresses

My wife liked her mattress, I couldn't stand mine. Original Mattress Factory was very accommodating in making a replacement. My only mistake was specifying max firmness. It feels like a brick but I dare not complain! The mattress is thicker than the factory mattress thus reducing the clearance to the bottom of the hanging locker at the foot of the bed. All of this to say that I don't believe a topper would work. Would appreciate any suggestions. Merry Christmas

Well, we actually like the mattresses that came in our 2017 FC. But the typical mattresses that can come in other SOBs can be very crappy indeed - and that's what I was referring to.
