Hi Vinnie, I see you are too young to remember "Tuesdays is Red's Tomales day" It was a popular commercial of my youth.

Waffle wednesday has been very popular at the Vinnie household but DG made such a stink about it that I caved and adopted his stupid "Prince Spaghetti day". You will notice that he posted anything about it after winning the spot. Makes one go Hmmmm.

Where is DG?

Wed is garbage night here , so it was "left over night". Clean out as much as we can out of the fridge. But we had some pretty good mothers day leftover from a local steak restaurant. Add fresh fruit, and dinner.

Gemma's Turn

Murray was still busy finishing up some Honey Do's so Gemma thought she would make dinner!

Early in our courtship, when faced with the dilemma of what to serve Murray for breakfast and remembering that the way to a man's heart was through his stomach, Gemma whispered into his ear, . . . "Would you like toast or cereal?" He was hooked!

Multi Grain Cheerios for dinner!

T-SQUARE: How did your dinner turn our? Curious!

This has been Senior Week, our last fledgling is graduating tonight, so just "catching" dinners on the fly!

Tonight for dinner, we cooked a pot roast in our *new* Dutch Oven! We used a recipe that called for yams & carrots, which were both good, but I felt like a green or white vegie might have added to it. The pot roast came out very tender! The whole idea reminds me of when we cook things in our clay pot in the oven....and, I may try adapting some of the clay pot recipes to the DO.

Medium rare grilled venison steaks marinated in teriyaki sauce with a side of Florida grown fresh corn on the cob. It was a fantastic meal!
