Door sun glare is annoying!
We have 2 tables in our 28' by the sofa. Mine is the smaller one by the door of course. The door glare..is there a cute solution for some elimination?

Do what folks used to do in the days before insect screens were invented… hang a bead curtain in the doorway. In my neck of the woods, it's a great way to recycle old Mardi Gras beads!

Move to the other table, let someone else figure out the glare solution. (you are the boss, aren't you.)

Your description could use more detail as to light source and when/where, but if what you are referring to is similar to what we experienced, it is easy to put a sheet of solar film on the small door window. Rather than a curtain type approach, we used a medium opaque in smokey grey to cut down on the light penetration. A small amount of soapy water and careful cutting made the end result look OEM.
I removed the film this winter and added new screen material to the inner door. I replaced the silver colored metal screen with a heavy vinyl, black, pet proof screen which has a denser weave and cuts down some of the sunlight. The particular weave I used is typically used for outdoor pool enclosures in Florida.

Turn the trailer around so its the other sides problem...
Boy...and you thought we were going to be helpful
In my trailer I had snaps around the window areas that were riveted on probably so reflector screens could be popped on when the trailer was in storage to protect the interior. You could always rivet some snaps on and make a small curtain to place up when needed. Is the glare coming from the table, glass or the aluminium on the door itself?

My Bride made a curtain with pockets top and bottom. Then we used compression rods to mount in the window.

I changed the screen in my door with solar screen material from Lowe's for just this reason. Easy to do and works great! You will have to use a smaller spline as the solar screen is a little thicker. Have replaced all the screens with this and it helps keep the trailer cooler.

Hi, I cut a piece of chrome/silver bubble insulation and stuffed it into one of the empty tracks in the window frame.

Scissors cut solar screen, but if you make a pattern first, you can take your time following the cut, lay it on saran wrap and carefully apply a bead glue(silicone) after it sets, peal off the saran and put 4 dots of glue at the corners, should hold up for a few seasons.

Going to look into getting our screens replaced. Will be in W Va for 4 months volunteering at Stuart Rec area by Elkins. Great idea!

We were given a solution - it is an attractive fabric "pocket", same on both sides, that slips over the top of the screen door and extends down almost to door handle. This blocks light and also serves for privacy at night as the original window cover in our '85 is gone. It fits like a glove over the door - rounded on top and straight across bottom edge. Door closes perfectly.
