    Hi,
We Live near Portland, OR and are searching for our first AS and found one that looks interesting in Victoria. I searched the list here of folks that might volunteer to do an inspection and your name came up. Are you still available to help? It's a 27ft international listed in or near Victoria. Please let me know if you are available and I can give you more details. Thanks, Dave

Hi Leya, not sure if this is too little too late, as I am not on Airforums much these days, moved on to Spartans in the past couple of years ( although bigger, actually less work than Airstreams as the two that I have are survivors, that just needed recommissioning ). In saying that, I have a number of Airstreams slowly lifting in condition as time allows.

Leya, to answer your question, the vinyl has held up very well, there does not appear to have been any shrinkage. When getting it printed, I did specify a clear overlay for protection and keeping it clean. I am sure with your background in the sign industry and how fast technology ploughs along, there may be even better options out there now. It is great to see and hear people's reaction upon seeing the interior of the Bambi with the wrap ( inevitibly " wow", is said from young and old.

I hope this has been of some help, Leya and I apologise for not getting your message sooner.

    Regards,
    Pete

Hi Sign Lady-I am stripping my Argosy MOHO and saw your great idea about making a tracing of the Argosy sign. Can you make me a sign like you suggested? What would it cost?
    Thanks

Hello Signlady, would you have any idea where I could source some dichloromethane / methylene chloride? I am near Brandon, Mb and can't seem to track any down. I have tried RV shops, Acklands, body shops, truck centres, no one seems to have heard of it. Even if you could tell me what industries might use it might be helpful. I have several cracks in the interior end caps of my 77 safari and would like to try and fix them before I paint.
How's the winter in Vic? I haven't made it out there yet this winter but I usually get in a few weeks at good friends of mine in Fairfield. Thanks for all the helpful posts on refinishing airstreams. Lorryb

Thanks for the message. I only just found it. Air Forums has lots of features and I haven't learned how to use them all. I found a critter nest in the bathroom tambour scroll . . . posted a description in the thread you referenced.

I have a 69 23' safari I am converting into a cool pop-up yarn shop in the Adirondacks. I have my front end cap out of my gutted trailer and am going to follow your advice! Do you have any bright ideas for wheel wells?

Hello. I'm in Vancouver Canada looking for someone local Vancouver Victoria or near by city to do our cabinets for a 1973 Overlander. I see you are in Victoria. Would you know anyone? Thanks.
