Tires, Wheels, TPMS, mattress & upholstery
My wife and I are going to do a trans-Canada and back through the US starting in August. We've been setting up our AS for mostly FT living. This week we got:
- 5 Sendel T03 16" Wheels
- 5 Michelin LTX 225/75 R16 E1 tires
- Dill TPMS 1504-416 with a 0.453 hold
- Queen size Parklane RV mattress
- New foam cushions for the dinette and upholstery for dinette bench so we have more color and less blah tan.
- Fiskar's X15 axe [also just in case of the zombie apocalypse]
- Bear spray
- New acrylic bathroom sink [needed larger diameter]
- New [probably] faucet for bathroom sink
Thanks to all of you for ideas! We'll see how we do without solar this year and then next year, we might add it.

No bear spray allowed to be brought into Canada. Firearms are also prohibited. Just saying! 😃

It must be labeled as BEAR SPRAY and not Pepper Spray which is a weapon. Shotguns and long guns require a form and I believe $25.00.

Boy have I found the flashlight for us. A police stun gun flashlight made by ''stun r us''. Cost is $22.00 on amazon, and has a heart stopping 75 million volts. A stun gun disguised as a flashlight. The flashlight has three modes low, bright, and strobe. It has a rechargeable battery. The business end sounds wicked and would scare off most animals. Definitely not a toy! Yes, I posted in non lethal thread, but this thread gets more exposure for our safety.

Hi, I was told by several Canadian border guards that Bear Spray is allowed. No gun or pepper spray though.

We had Chris from On the Go Mobile RV Repair out to repack our axles on the Airstream. Recommended by a fellow full time AirForums member westcoastas , Chris does great work. If you're in the St. Georgia/Hurricane area Chris can come to you. Give him a call at 435-703-5796 - He'll come to you. He drove out to our boondocking spot outside of Zion. $200 for it all and done in an hour. Hard to beat.

This is one of the BEST little flashlights I've gotten recently, now own 3.
Middle of the night with no shore power....

The axles are here!!! :-) Two for the Overlander and one for the Safari. I'm excited to get started on that project.
I also bought 1/4" and 1/2" Oak plywood to re-do some interior woodwork that's delaminated. :-)

Very interested in what you think of the Parklane. My wife and I will retire next summer and I want to upgrade our mattress.
