You're welcome!

Especially one of those LCD Sharp TVs on a swivel mount like Hohne's! Too cool!

That's a great idea ... but ...

At your age Gary ... that's a lot of technology to absorb ... so to help you get through those manuals ... be sure to take some of these ...

For the youngun'. . .

XM radio! We love it for travel--got all the music we like in the deadest reception areas while on the road-and we don't carry along nearly as many CD's as we used to. (Of course, that goes without saying that we are not nearly as techy as all of you that can load thousands of tunes on a credit-card sized whatever! XM has our vote and you can even get a portable unit to haul to the beach or mountain top or whatever off the road place kind of ambiance you seek out. Janet, we think you ought to wrap up XM for Gary's big 5-0!

That comment caught me off guard when I read it seven years ago as in "I hope Gary's still got mobility; it must suck getting old".

My invitation just came in the mail.

Janet: What did you end up getting him for the big 5-0?

just remember - while turning 50 might be bad,

not turning 50 is even worse!

p.s. the same goes for turning 60. happy trails

LOL - dang I just saw this bump of a 7 year old thread and have to admit that I can no longer remember what I got him. On the bright side, he probably can't either

Has Gary done the big step off yet. Mine will come the end of May and Teresa and I can't wait. Hope to see everyone at Trout Lake! He really needs a new trailer project to work on. How about polishing a argosy like Mark & Mona!

Janet, you know there are two way to tell you're getting old. The first one is, you can't remember anything. The second one is, umm, wait a minute... it'll come to me... uhh...
Well, anyway, the first one is you can't remember anything.
