Its a Girl!
This just in.......................
well after several attempts at trying to figure out what the sex of our pre-born child is, we finally got a view of the missing goods
My wife and I are excited to tell the Airstreaming community that we are expecting a little smiling girl

Congratulations!!!
In recent years doctors have said giving birth in a relaxing "home-like" place is best. Do Airstream's qualify?

Congratulations to both Beth and Smiley!!!!!!!!!!!
As a nurse I'll give you both the same advice I give all new parents to be:
Remember, You read the book, the Doctor read the book, but the baby did not, and he will develope at his own rate!
Best wishes to both of you, and may your children be airstreamers when they grow up!
Marie

names
I am informed that my girl will be named as I wish.......................
as long as I wish for Kennedy Grace Smillie
Thanks for the suggestions, I will try to sway my wife to an more subtle name light, Michelle Lobe
Congratulations to Beth, I am looking forward to seeing your whole Airstream family one day at a rally or even just a little get together. Remember you did tell me, that we would get to see your restored MH.

Ken,
I love the names you have picked out. Are they family names? We have (actually I have) decided not to find out if we are having a boy or girl. We already have a 9 year old, Gracie, so I think the hubster is wishing for a little boy. God help me
Yes, we will definitley all have to get our Airstream families together now. I am still looking forward to showing off our Airstreams to you and anyone else that would like to see.
I have been trying to get someone to start designing a set up for the baby already in our MH Hopefully we will be back in the Charleston area soon and we will all finally get to meet up.

Ken,
Congrats and best of health for mother and child!
Will you all by chance be at the Tidewater unit 111 Rally in Powhatan VA on the September 18 weekend? We will be visiting on that Saturday and hope to see you.

VAJEEP,
Hmm, had not thought of heading north in September.
It is a nice thought though. Actually in September, we will be going to our local unit rallies and gearing up for the State Rally in October.
Maybe we could make the Virginia State Rally sometime. When does VA have their State Rally?
A good chance to get together would be this May at the Region 3 Rally. Will you be there?
You can get info at the thread called "Region 3 will you be there"
Check it out.

Congratulations! Girls are great fun to raise.
I got a new "baby girl" last fall... a 16 year old foreign exchange student from Austria. I am having so much fun that I signed up for another next fall... from Germany. If anyone is interested check out AFS.

Congrats, Ken & Beth!
New additions are wonderful! I have always enjoyed new babies; particularly when I can hand them back to the parents!
Our youngest is nearly 15... I hope you continue to use your Airstreams with your little ones. We began with ours in our Safari when he was six weeks. The portable canvas/net cribs had just come out, and it worked perfectly for the little guy. Airstreams are just perfect for camping with small folks!
