Well, the pages seem to load correctly in Explorer (although the pages in Explorer loaded slowly for me). Hitting the reload ('refresh' in Explorer) button (or, under 'View' in the menu bar, 'Reload Page') in Safari to redraw the page, seems to fix it for me. Try it in whatever browser you are using.
Before that, I tried reducing the font size to teeny tiny, and the type shrank, but the scrolling issue remained. I have a 15" PowerBook.

Happiness is. . .rivets back! A question--the green or blue spheres and the red triangles at the bottom of posts--were these a feature before that I never noticed? (Non-techy newbies take awhile, you know!) Is this secret code? What do these represent? It's probably so obvious I'm stumbling over the answer. Okay--so I'm not ashamed to show what an "idjit" I am! Another question--how do you attach the standard information, quotes, and so on that I see following the posts of some members? I've searched through FAQS and CP's but I haven't found the information. Thanks for explanations!

See why I need help? Can someone rescue me and take out all the [FONT. . .] junk I got on my post by trying to create on my own? Good grief! Why didn't my "signature" turn out in the font, size, and color I tried to establish???????????? Thanks. Of course, when I send this post, all that "stuff" will still be there. ARGHHHH!

John,
If you hit the quote button in the PM system it works like the old reply button.

MaxandGeorgia,
the little green spot or gray as the case maybe, indicates that the person in question is on line, the kewl looking warning sign is too report the post to a moderator. A lot of the new features can be checked out by mousing over or clicking on, go ahead and try it...you won't break it and you might just like it.

Go to your UserCP and on the left side of the screen near the top is the option to Edit Signature. I think waht you are seeing is stuff people have added to their signatures.
Keep hanging in there, we're all in this together.

Thanks, Aaron! I knew it had to be simple, but I tried to be complicated, searching all over the place, but not doing the obvious. "Mouse over." I think I AM going to like it! I guess now I'll go back to my CP and "kill" all the signature mess I made for myself!

I am finding it very frustrating to find and follow discussions. I've been looking for this discussion for awhile, and finally it popped up because someone else posted a message so it showed up on the new posts list. I realize that change can be a problem, but frankly, the longer I spend trying to find things that previously were more accessible, the less likely I am to continue.

Alan,
There are a few different ways to keep abreast of the discussions you desire.
The easiest is to subscribe to the thread. This will allow you to go to your user control panel and see all the threads you are subscribed to.
The home page will show the most recent posts to a point. Andy, the form owner is working to put the last 24 hours link back in place for those of us who asked for it.
I hope you can stay the course with the changes and see that the changes are for the better. There are a bunch of new features that will make the forum better in the long run.

I would like to upload some photos, but can't seem to login to airstreaphotos. I keep getting invalid password, but I am logged into airstreamforums just fine. Is this a glitch with the new software? ..or am I just doing something stupid.
Thanks,
John.

My frustration is that selecting "new posts" gives me the last 1 hour and 12 minutes. That's quite different from the last 24 hrs. So if I miss something, I have to wade through all of the individual forums, hoping that I find what used to be available in the "last 24 hrs" selection.
I'm willing to wait to see the last 24 hrs return.

John,
This is a software issue I was able to get in earlier today. Andy will have to check on it.

Anyone point me in the direction of the statistics that Brett showed me with the old system? It was on the main page, didn't work, but now gone...is this another Safari thing or is this a genuine thing?

Please be patient as we restore lost functionality from the upgrade. It has been all of 48 hours since the software was upgraded and I also have a full time job. I WILL get as much functionality back to where it was ASAP. So try not to sweat the little things, we'll get there...
Cheers,
Andy

I couldn't help myself
Some of the posts here reminded me of this old cartoon.
Andy, I'm sure the majority of us truly appreciate your hard work and dedication to this site. I don't know how you find the time and patience for all that you do. Please don't let the negative comments get under your skin..

Eirc,
The site stats page was one Andy Built. Not a "stock" page. He will need to build a new one. It is not a Safari thing or a Safari SS thing either

No worries...just wondering if I just missed it.
What about a Safari GT thing?

Mmmmkay. I was at another thread, and I don't want to post in it, just watch it for further replies because the poster brought up an interesting question. Where's the 'nothing to contribute, just lurking' button?

If I understand what you are asking...there is a "Subscribe to this Thread" option under the "Thread Tools" button at the top of the thread. This should help you follow the thread when new posts are added, even while just lurking.
Hope this works for you ~
